About the Founder of Auburn Bowen Method
Julie McColl
Julie has been practicing the Bowen Method for over 20 years. Carrying a passion for helping clients achieve optimal health, she’s dedicated to promoting holistic healing and wellness through the Bowen Method.
Over the years, Tom Bowen graciously allowed some practitioners to observe him in his clinic. Of these, he acknowledge six as having truly grasped his work. Among them was Ozzie Rentsch, who passed his interpretation of Bowen’s teachings to Milton Albrecht, who became America’s first Bowen Practitioner. Milton, in turn, trained Christine Jones and Steve Sanders. Christine passed on her wisdom to Julie McColl, who now, as a fourth-generation therapist, carries forward Bowen’s legacy and continues to inspire and heal with the same compassionate spirit that defined Tom Bowen’s remarkable work.
